CEMAC is developing tools for enhancing the learning experience of undergraduate students studying climate, atmospheric and environmental science at Leeds, focussed on improving skills in scientific computing and data analysis & visualisation.
Examples of such projects include:
- Computer modelling tools for simulating atmospheric pollution chemistry
- Tools for visualising and analysing observed changes in planetary ice cover
- Undergraduate module development to utilise weather forecast modelling
- Online tools for accessing and visualising a global network of weather station data
CEMAC also provides online resources and training for scientists interested in learning new modelling and visualisation skills, and in keeping up to date with latest developments.
