Chemistry Aerosol Models

Chemistry-Aerosol Models

Chemistry-aerosol models are used to simulate the chemistry and physics controlling the atmospheric distributions of trace gases and particulate matter (aerosol particles) in the Earth’s atmosphere. The models incorporate natural and man-made emissions, and details of the chemical and microphysical processes that control their transformation in the atmosphere.
