Radiation Models

Radiation models simulate the transfer of solar and terrestrial radiation through the atmosphere, and how it interacts with atmospheric trace gases (e.g. greenhouse gases), aerosol particles, and clouds. These models can be used to calculate the impact of changes in atmospheric composition or land surface on the Earth’s radiation balance and climate system.
